Malai Paratha

Ingredients for stuffing :

  • Green peas - 200 gm.
  • Paneer - 150 gm.
  • Green methi - 1 bunch
  • Green chilly - 6 no.
  • Jeera - 1 ½ tsp.
  • Oil - 50 ml.
  • Salt - to taste
  • White pepper - 1 tsp.
  • Mawa - 50 gm
Ingredients for dough:

  • Atta - ½ kg
  • Maida - 150 gm.
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tsp.
  • Water
  • Oil - 50 ml.
  • Salt - to taste
  • White pepper - 1 tsp.
  • Mawa - 50 gm
Method :

1. Make a soft pliable dough by mixing atta, maida, salt, oil & water & keep for ½ an hour.
 
2. Grate paneer, boil & crush green peas, great mawa, chop methi leaves, chop green chilly.
 
3. Heat oil in a pan add jeera & let it crackle. Add green chillies chopped.
 
4. Add methi leaves & fry for some time till it leaves water & dries.
 
5. Add cruched peas, paneer, salt, pepper & mix well.
 
6. Add grated mawa & mix well & cool, this stuffing.
 
7. Divided dough into 12 equal parts.
 
8. Stuff each ball with the stuffing, seal & roll into a 6" diameter paratha.
9. Fry it on tawa with butter & serve hot with curd & pickle.
