Nutrition Guide

“Oh! This Indian food of yours is so good. I always overeat. It’s almost sinful. That’s what my guests tell me almost 9 out of 10 times. Well apart from being “good” – another great fact most of peoples experience is that many Indian Chefs make food so heavy that one almost feels bloated. "Ah… Indian food is too heavy and too oily…" is an unfortunate image which also sadly exists.

But there’s good news!! Indian Food… rather my modern Indian cuisine can be very healthy and yes, tasty too. In fact Indian cuisine has such great history that is almost ‘Science’ you all have heard of “Ayurveda” – the ancient "Science of Good Life”. So, with such a solid base knowledge of Ayurveda – Indian food could never have been unhealthy. But at least we humans are sinners… for our tastebud pleasures we over the years added too much – Desi ghees, sugar & dry fruits - to our food and made it so rich that it almost becomes unhealthy at times.

We at chefmilind.com believe in:

  • Tasty healthy Indian menus
  • Use of modern ingredients easily available worldwide
  • Use of commonly / widely accepted ingredients
  • Menus based on the “Rock Solid” principles of Ayurveda
  • Special Menus for specific requirements / ailments
  • International cuisine favorites with a touch of Indian spice
  • Authentic / Traditional dishes – made lighter for today’s “Generation – on the move”

Come explore the world of Healthy and yet very, very “yummy” Indian food at chefmilind.com.
