Phaldhari Tikki
Another exclusive recipe from Chef Milind Sovani
An easy-to-make snack that consists of raw banana and sweet potato. A healthy alternative to potato which is the standard ingredient in Tikki. Serve it to your guests as a party hors'd'oeuvre or to the kids as as an evening snack.
 
Time Required : 35 mins.
No. of Serves : 4.
 
Ingredients:

  • Raw banana : 2 nos
  • Sweet Potato : 2 nos
  • Green coriander leaves : 1 cup
  • Green chillies : 3 nos
  • Onion : 1 no.
  • Chat masala : 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lime : ½ tabsp
  • Flour : ½ cup
  • Oil to fry
Method :

1. Boil raw banana & sweet potato & peel the skin grate it.
 
2. Chop chillies, coriander & onion, combine this with the above grated add the seasoning.
 
3. Mix it well & make small tikki of heart shape.
 
4. Dust it with flour, shallow fry it on the tawa until golden brown.
 
5. Serve hot with sprinked chat masala & green chutney.
